Catherine is a British illustrator and artist inspired by a deep love for the natural world. She was fortunate to grow up in the beautiful Kent countryside, immersed in nature. This has had a strong influence on her and her illustrations.

Catherine’s background is in surface pattern and textiles, colour and pattern flow into her work. Her artworks are hand-painted, which she creates from her garden studio in rural Leicestershire. She loves to use a variety of mediums, particularly gouache and watercolour.

Over the years Catherine has worked as an in-house designer for a greetings card company and since 2017 has been represented by the Bright agency for licensing. Her work has featured in various retailers and globally as far as Australia.

When she is not drawing and painting, Catherine enjoys walking in the great outdoors and spending time with her family. She loves to travel for inspiration.
